Middle East Peace Civic Forum
We Create Communication, Inspire Vision, and Empower Action
Many intelligent and dedicated people have worked over decades to advance the cause of peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Despite these efforts, we are left with a present reality of conflict and deep ideological divides. The situation is not entirely bleak—many people and organizations continue to work diligently to bridge the divide. Despite all these efforts, the quest for peace has been elusive.
At the Middle East Peace Civic Forum (MEPCF), we believe that now is the time for a bold, new conversation.
In this new kind of conversation, we push the envelope to say what needs to be said, even though it may be difficult. And we affirm our commitment to listening deeply while honoring our common humanity.
We live in a world in which people are impressionable. Minds can be easily swept up in divisiveness, anger, and hate. Likewise, a powerful message of love, forgiveness, and opportunity can bring the power of healing and creativity to transform the Middle East.
We are a movement of people around the world who are committed to peace in the Middle East. We stand and work for a historic reconciliation across the whole of the Abrahamic family, which will impact people worldwide.
Our message is one of sincere and intentional dialogue, respect for common humanity, and the power of transformed relationships. Through dialogue, creative action, and bold leadership, our mission is to set the stage for genuine coexistence and a historic peace to emerge.
MEPCF Programs & Impact
Our programs are designed to create safe, constructive spaces for thoughtful, honest conversations.
We bring a diversity of voices to the table, where our professional facilitators keep the focus on straight talk and deep, dignified listening.
Effective communication contributes to a new kind of relationship: where it becomes possible to create with shared vision and purpose.
Thousands of people have participated in, watched, and listened to our programs, and many people have reported that their perspective and depth of understanding were altered through viewing and participating.
At the end of 2025, we completed our fifth “Critical Conversations” series, on the topic, "Visions of Peace." The series featured Israeli and Palestinian women who have issued a “women’s call” for peace, and in the third conversation in the series we were joined by Monica McWilliams. She played a dramatic role in organizing both Catholic and Protestant women in Northern Ireland, and ultimately helping to usher in the Good Friday Accords.
All of our discussions are intended to provide a space for honest dialogue that addresses real challenges and inspires new ways of thinking, all while building a foundation for a more peaceful and inclusive future.
Our programs are supported by people like you. Please give what you can to support our work by clicking the donate tab above. Please do not hesitate to reach out so we can communicate directly and get to know you.
Legend of the Northern Ireland peacemaking process Monica McWilliams joined Israeli and Palestinian women and the MEPCF facilitation team for a profound discussion about possible next steps and finding ground between Israelis and Palestinians.

Our Vision
We envision a reality of:
Reconciliation, dignity, and peace within the Abrahamic Family
Israelis and Palestinians working together as allies and partners, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea
All the people of the land living together in mutual respect and a shared commitment to the rights, and responsibilities, of all.
Our Mission
The mission of the Middle East Peace Civic Forum is to create communication, inspire vision, and empower action that brings about real peace and lasting transformation to all impacted by the Israeli-Palestinian relationship.
Our Model of Change
In our analysis, peace efforts focused solely on finding common ground miss an important part of the equation. Avoiding points of contention may suppress conflict in the short term, but is dangerously ineffective over time.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is characterized by real, critical issues that must be addressed: extremism, arrogance, and the teaching of hate, among them.
At MEPCF, we understand that the only way out is through. Sometimes it is necessary to call out unworkability and draw appropriate boundaries.
The best way to do that is through authentic, honest communication.
Only by addressing real and sometimes uncomfortable issues can we get to a point where we can begin to create a workable future.
We invite you to join us on this important quest.
